Summary
Long ago, there existed a cult in service of Asmodeus himself. Vile, wretched people who slaughtered and corrupted in his name. Of the people in this cult, none were as cruel as their leader. This man's evil ways in life clearly pleased the Lord of Lies, as he found himself reborn in the hells. Clawing his way to the... bottom, Dante now works as a terrifyingly powerful pit fiend and duke in service to the dark lord himself and strategist for the Blood War. And when he's not playing 4d devil chess, he's helping his daughter with learning how to reap souls and arguing with the guy he thinks he may have accidentally married. Funny how things work out.
After getting unintentionally summoned during a sacrifice of a young girl, Dante found himself with a daughter. One wouldn't expect a devil like him to have a soft side, and Dante himself vehemently denies it. Truth be told, Ruby and Niko remind him of his family he had in life, something he sorely misses and causes him deep regret for going down the path he did in his life as a mortal. He seeks to make things right this time around, to atone for his sins of the distant past. It won't earn him any favors in any god's book, but at least it fills him with a sense of purpose again after ages of being nothing more than a tool and instrument of war.
Personality
Dante is a rather stoic and imposing person. He commands an aura of fear and respect to those beneath him, which is basically everyone. He does not tolerate any funny business, and is deeply committed to his duties as a general and strategist. Though he is not an angry man, he simply doesn't care at all for others that annoy him and get in his way. He can be described as a man who is extremely no-nonsense, even though he is usually surrounded by a lot of nonsense that he will inevitably have to clean up after later. Of course, this wall he's built around himself crumbles and thaws when with his family. Though he still can be considered strict, he is much, much softer and more gentle with both Ruby and Niko. They may be the only two people to see Dante genuinely smile. When dealing with mortals, Dante prefers things to be quick. The faster a deal is made, the easier it is to rope mortals into Asmodeus's schemes and the faster Dante gets to clock out of work for the day and not deal with the mess that is his coworkers and subordinates. Instead he gets the mess that is his frat boy of a husband and their daughter. Such is life.

Trivia
- His fur is extremely soft and warm to the touch, similar to cashmere fleece. He also can and will bleat like a goat-thing when startled.
- He lacks wings, as they were torn off as a punishment for consistently refusing to kill Niko and Ruby. Asmodeus gave up on the matter after the wings came off.
- He can take the form of a very... conspicuous goat. Sure its got two eyes, but they're both on the same side of his head...
- When disguising as a mortal, he takes the form of a half orc. Skin the same color as his fur, with similar markings, along with the same hair. His right eye remains missing, however.

Design notes
- He is missing both of his right eyes. The sockets are empty, and he keeps them closed most of the time anyways.
- His hair is only partially dreaded. He has it fully loose and natural in the back.
- In combat, he wields three great swords. One in each hand, and a third held with his tail.
- Adding to the above, his tail is prehensile and very strong. Be warned that the spade at the tip of his tail is rather sharp!
