Summary
At the edge of creation stood a lone bird, having been so deep in her despair at the uncaring cruelty of the world she had lost herself within the song of the end. While the rest of her sisters took wing and flew away upon the Endsinger's defeat, this bird felt a familiar presence—one she had not felt in the thousands of years since she was made to fly far beyond Etheirys. The Warrior of Light, now laying cold and lifeless amidst the stars, had offered his hand in friendship just moments before to show the Meteia that there is still hope to be found in spite of life's pain and suffering. And now, it was time for Elegeia to extend her hand in return.
Elegeia was a prototype of sorts, created in secret by Icarus and Hermes and her blueprint used and improved upon for the future flock of Meteia. Cared for by Icarus until Hermes took the kid in the divorce, she had travelled the star with the seat of Azem—her later despair seated not in the truths that her sisters saw, but in the oppressive isolation she felt being separated from the star and all of its people she grew to love. Now, 12,000 years later, she finds herself reunited with the man she looked up to and loved as both a father and a mentor. Well, a fraction of him, at least. Having been extremely insistent she tag along with the WoL's adventures—and swearing she probably won't cause a third final days if she gets too sad—Ferdinand relented. Armed with a sword, shield, and the power of the friendships she's made along the way, Elegeia can once again fly alongside Azem's footsteps.
Personality
As a being made of pure dynamis—which is to say, a being of pure emotions and vibes—Elegeia is... actually surprisingly stable. For an entelechy. While very sensitive and perceptive to others emotions to the point where they can easily influence her own, she was made with the idea of a being able to simply sense emotion and read thoughts to determine the best course of action in processing said emotions and thoughts rather than the more complex, philosophical purpose her younger sisters would later serve. Basically, she's an emotional support therapy bird. She cares deeply for others, loves very strongly, and is deeply stubborn in her desire to provide help and to travel the world. Described by her friends as a literal ray of sunshine, Elegeia is absolutely brimming with nothing but sheer ambition and hope, and is only further strengthened by her companions' willpower and convictions. She is energetic, adores the WoL lifestyle, terribly outgoing, and is truly a splitting image of Azem in his prime. If Ferdinand is Icarus's humility and selflessness, Elegeia is his gusto and extroverted nature.

Trivia
- Her starbird form—which is referred to as a Sunbird by Ferdinand and the rest of the party—is based on the American Kestral! It is the smallest bird of prey in North America.
- Her tears are black, possibly as a remaining scar from being part of the Endsinger. They cause any plants they touch to wilt and necrotizes others' flesh. How cute.
- She's a dynamis-powered tank, just like her papa! A paladin, specifically, though she lacks a jobstone. It functions much closer to a traditional D&D paladin, with her power and abilities originating purely from her own conviction and "oath" rather than aether and a jobstone.
- While she's better at physically speaking than her younger sisters due to her socialization back in the ancient world, she can still project her thoughts telepathically to people nearby, along with somewhat being able to read their thoughts in return. She can't exactly read someone's mind, but she can get the general idea of what they are thinking and feeling at the moment.

Design notes
- Star shaped pupils! Why? She's a being made purely of vibes she can look however she wants.
- The outer edge of her irises are rimmed with gold
- Light colored, starry-shaped freckles
- The two longer feathers on her tail are shaped like phoenix downs, with a heart shape in the center of the end of each feather.
- Does have bird-like legs and feet. I don't feel like drawing them. Just imagine Meteion but instead of her legs being a blueish-grey with silver accents and a blue jewel, imagine something along the lines of reddish-brown with gold accents and a pink/yellow jewel. Or maybe orange jewel.
