Summary
South of the Sword Coast, jutting out from Faerûn, lies a peninsula known as Chult. It's also known as a hotbed of jungles, volcanoes, dinosaurs, and undead shenaniganry among other things. Sozzoth, however, calls Chult his homeland. Originally hailing from the death peninsula, Sozzoth has been taken on a loop around Faerûn before eventually finding himself on a boat back to his home to stop a death curse. Of course, Sozzoth himself has been irreversibly changed by his time in Chult and the places he was taken after. He wasn't always a snakeman, and he wasn't always so... spacey and almost undead in stare either. He travels alongside his companions, Kael and Selussa, alongside any poor soul the group takes a liking to across Chult on a mission to stop the death curse plaguing the land and threatening the entirity of Faerûn, and Chult seems very determined to stop the party in their tracks.
Massive dinosaurs, dinosaur people, copious amounts of the undead, giants blight curses, hags, covens of hags, hidden Yuan-ti cities, extradimensional beings, and liches and their tombs that may be full of annihilation? That all happens on an average friday in Chult.
Personality
Sozzoth himself, while not stupid, doesn't seem to be the brightest snake in the barrel. His mind has been turned into soup after having been transformed into a Yuan-ti as a young teen and poked and prodded at even more after he was captured by the wizards of Thay as both a test subject and body guard for one of their elite. What he lost in his brains, he gained in his brawn and ability to warp and contort himself into various different dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures to aid in the party's expedition. Truthfully, he simply wishes to help out as he recognizes the dire situation Chult and beyond is dealing with in the moments where his dinosaur brain manages to rub a few brain cells together. He is rather perceptive and good at dealing with the dangers of the jungle in his own unique ways, and an enjoyer of simpler things in life like participating in dinosaur races (as the dinosaur) and eating various tropical fruits and foods. He may be a bit more than clueless, but his charm and willingness to help others out more than makes up for it--even if his undead, vacant stare and propensity for eating the occasional live animal may be a bit off putting for some.

Trivia
- He cannot turn into mammals. He is limited to reptiles, insects, and some sea creatures. Basically any standard dinosaur, bug, or dinosaur adjacent animal you'd see in ARK.
- His primary beast forms are a kaprosuchus, carnotaurus, giant spider, giant octopus, and a titanoboa.

Design notes
- His scales (specifically the blue-green ones) have an oily, holographic sheen, much like oil on top of water.
- Has no pupils and does not blink.
- Triangular, lighter blue markings around eyes.
- Often flicking tongue in and out of mouth. Like a snake.
